About the Blend

La Aurora 120 Anniversary is a full Dominican puro wrapped in a beautiful Habana 92 seed leaf; the wrapper is selected for its aromatic attributes and consistent burn. Thanks to the Cibao Valley fillers from La Aurora’s own farms and long-trusted partners, the cigar has been designed by carefully adjusting how we set standards for ourselves and making adjustments that allow our team to craft cigars with ownership. The fillers are selected to bring in a complete smoking experience in a full-bodied output that can still manage to provide a balanced and refined sense of strength without ever compromising flavor, a feat possible thanks to the developed understanding of the leaf by our rollers.

For 120 years, La Aurora has been crafting premium cigars that stand on the shoulders of tradition. Our commitment has always been with creating cigars that embody the rich, distinct flavors of the cigar world. “With an opening of a cedar wood aroma attributed to the cigar’s aging, these notes provide a smooth buffer for the smoky flavors of peppered, cinnamon and anise. With a bold start, the opportunity for sweeter notes to enter the fold arises, with a sweet cocoa and creamy coffee bean slowly evolving into a smooth vanilla finish to establish balance. As the burn line progresses, the flavor profile can be expected to turn on its head, with dry fruit and rich tropical notes taking center stage as subtle notes of wild honey and rich earth provide the balance. A memorable finish to a perfect smoke.”
